Location, location, location. Always an important factor in any events planning and MEA certainly hit the spot with their sold-out October networking event Club MEA.
With 360 degree views of Sydney Harbour, The Island presents itself as a floating open-air establishment that fuses European beach club culture and 5-star service with an iconic Australian backdrop.
Launched in 2010, this event space is brand new to the Sydney market and unlike anything that has been seen before.
Courtesy water taxis ferried guests into the sunset and aboard the unique venue complete with relaxing modern day beds, VIP cabanas and beach chairs.
Avocado Group did a fine job with a mouth-watering canapé menu featuring seasonal produces such as chilled asparagus with crème fraiche; chilled vine ripened tomato consommé as well as delights such as oysters to salmon paired with beetroot that tasted as fresh as the ocean breeze.
An open bar flowed on for an extra hour thanks to the generosity of Michael Stojkovic from The Island and guests danced with merry abandonment to the tunes of the Kiwi guitarist and singer.
