World famous superstar Lady Gaga is the latest in a star-studded cast that have treaded the boards at Sydney’s iconic Town Hall.
The landmark building was selected for the legendary singer’s one-off Australian performance on Wednesday night, which delighted fans and put Sydney on the world stage through media and online coverage.
The iconic building received a $40 million dollar upgrade last year, and ever since then the City has been flooded with requests for everything from concerts to fashion shows, corporate functions, Christmas parties, school gatherings, community meetings, comedy performances and weddings.
Lady Gaga joins a glittering and varied ‘who’s who’ list, which has delighted concert-goers at Sydney Town Hall – including:

- Guy Sebastian
- Bjorn Again
- Dame Edna
- Kelly Rowland
- The Sydney Symphony Orchestra
- Organist Percy Grainger
- Dame Nellie Melba

“We’re quite rightly proud of our fantastic Town Hall building that not only has important historic value, but is also one of the top concert venues in town,” said Melissa Bajugi, Sydney Town Hall venue manager.

Following significant internal upgrades, Sydney Town Hall offers some of the most spectacular and iconic event spaces in Sydney.
Built from local sandstone, Sydney Town Hall features a flight of marble steps leading up to the entrance, a magnificent Victorian concert hall, chandeliers, stained glass windows and an 9000 pipe grand organ, along with state-of-the-art audio visual equipment, concert lighting and full Wi-Fi connectivity.
