Old Parliament House (OPH) in Canberra holds many secrets. And many of them were uncovered for delegates to the Canberra Convention Bureau’s Top Secret famil.
As part of their tour of Canberra’s icons delegates got to look behind the scenes of OPH before joining representatives of the local business events industry for a dinner in the venerable building’s King’s Hall.
While waiting for dinner, guests were entertained by local opera singer Livia Brash under the watchful gaze of King George V and various Prime Ministers.
During the dinner ACT Chief Minister, Katy Gallagher MLA, welcomed the guests to Canberra and outlined some of the exciting developments in store for the National Capital.
ABC presenter, Genevieve Jacobs interviewed Daryl Karp, Director of ?Museum of Australian Democracy at Old Parliament House. Daryl is passionate about the Museum and is encouraging more community and corporate use of the building.
