UNSW Venues and Events have taken home the Meetings and Events Australia (MEA) National Award on Tuesday night for best Specialty Meeting Venue.
Awarded for the CBD Campus, located on levels 6 & 7, in the prestigious 1 O’Connell Street in the heart of Sydney’s financial district, the CBD Campus is UNSW’s flagship conference and executive training centre. It features two contemporary dining rooms, the only Harvard style theatres in the Sydney CBD, 8 flexible flat-floor teaching spaces, the thinkPOD creative workshop space, 11 breakout rooms, boardroom with video-conferencing facilities, a comprehensive business centre, and a landscaped roof-top garden.
Despite increased competition, the CBD Campus has sustained positive growth by being adaptable to the changing needs of the business events industry and our clients who include: Australian Graduate School of Management, Apple, AMP, Google, IAG, Nestle, Westfield, VISA, CBA, Macquarie Bank, Government departments, Law firms, RTOs, and marketing and advertising agencies
MEA is a national, independent not for profit organisation dedicated to servicing the needs of the meetings & events industry and promoting professionalism and excellence in all aspects of meetings and event management.
