Arinex’ Incentives and Special Events team is readying for the return of international travellers, launching a new destination website and exhibiting at IMEX America.
The team has designed the new website to inspire incentive hosts on places and activities in Australia, New Zealand and Fiji when borders reopen as part of the respective governments’ roadmaps.
International organisers will also be able to learn more about the team at the upcoming IMEX America Tradeshow, where US DMC representation group The DMC Group will represent Arinex on the Tourism Australia stand.
It comes after the Australian Federal Government announced a four-phase ‘roadmap’ out of the Covid pandemic in July and also follows the Queensland government’s newly-released plan to reopen its borders.
Arinex Incentives & Special Events Senior Event Operations Manager Rebecca Quilty said the team was looking forward to the return of international – and even interstate – groups.
“We have built our new destination and incentives website with border reopenings top of mind. We believe there will be pent-up demand for travel as soon as people are able to, and we want to be ready to inspire clients with once-in-a-lifetime travel itineraries,” she said.
The website features an interactive map of Australia which comes alive when users hover over a destination.
Arinex will be one of six Australian partners on the Tourism Australia stand at IMEX America, when it takes place on 9-11 November.
Ms Quilty added: “We look forward to showcasing to the world that there is truly nothing like Australia for incentive events. With more than 3,000 hosted buyers attending thanks to easing of restrictions in the US, IMEX America provides a real opportunity to kick-start the inbound travel market.”
