Julius Grafton started doing psychedelic lightshows in 1973, refining his skills lighting a strip club and then going straight with theatre lighting.
In 1980 he hit the road in his truck and pulled sound for many of the classic rock bands of the day. Graftons Sound and Lighting, Australian Monitor, ENTECH and eventually CX Magazine were all his inventions.
A decade running Julius Events College convinced him the regulated world of a V.E.T. college was - just - not for him.
When not running ENTECH Roadshow, which tours nationally, he partners with Kate McKenzie to offer Kate & Julius Pty Ltd event services. These include exhibition carpet, drapes and electrical. Julius was editor and publisher of CX Magazine for a neat 30 years before selling out.
He also operates GOAT SOUND which specialises in upmarket parties and events.
