Following a successful event in Sydney last year JTB Australia again staged a dinner event featuring the talents of two of the most successful chefs from the Japanese TV show.
Over 500 guests attended this year’s Iron Chef dinners over two nights at Melbourne’s RACV City Club.
Hiroyuki Sakai (Iron Chef French) and Kenichi Chen (Iron Chef Chinese) were joined by Mark Normoyle (Executive Chef at the RACV City Club) and assisted by a number of chefs from some of Melbourne’s notable Japanese restaurants.
Staging Connections provided the stage and set along with AV production while Costello Video provided live video coverage to the room of the stage and kitchen action.
MC Simon Thomsen kept the event rolling along with crosses to the kitchen where Mayumi Uchida translated between English and Japanese.
