Australia’s entertainment technology and installation industry show, ENTECH, has shared a strong partnership with ALIA over the past 13 years since its beginning.
In commenting on the new leadership, ENTECH Portfolio Director Pascal Ibrahim, says the ENTECH team is excited to be continuing their relationship with ALIA and look forward to the new direction ALIA is taking.
“ALIA is an extremely important industry association who we have always enjoyed a strong relationship with. We are looking forward to continuing this association.” Mr Ibrahim said.
“With the 2015 ENTECH show in the pipeline for 7-9 July, we are excited to see what ALIA has in store for the new year and at the show.”
Marcus Pugh (Resolution X) has taken over the role of ALIA President from Andy Ciddor, and Peter Darby (Victorian Opera) has taken over as Vice President from Cat Strom.
“I am extremely happy to be taking on this role! We have some big ideas to action for the future and I look forward to providing more for ALIA members and the wider entertainment lighting community,” Mr Marcus Pugh, newly appointed ALIA President said.
Steve Dallimore, who has been an integral part of the ENTECH team for four years, also commented.
“It’s been an honour to work with Andy on developing the lighting aspect of the ENTECH shows over the last few years and I’m very excited to be working with Marcus and the team moving forward.”
Andy and Cat will remain on the committee and continue to serve as executive officers running ALIA’s operations and online activities. Joseph Mercurio will continue in the position of Honorary Secretary and Lyndon Buckley stays on as Treasurer.
