Meetings & Events Australia has launched a Creativity Workshop to be held on the opening day of Evolve 2019 in March at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre.
Part of the conference program, The Creativity Hot Seat Workshop will be presented by international presenter and experimenter, Richard Foulkes, who, along with our Nigel Collin, has presented this workshop around the world, receiving accolades from attendees.
MEA CEO, Robyn Johnson, says, “We are very excited to have both Richard and Nigel present this workshop. Creativity was raised repeatedly at the conference in Adelaide this year as the tool that is vital for event organisers and this workshop is designed to help you to think more creatively and how to ignite ideas and engage your team.”
Foulkes has gained global recognition for his approach to effective marketing communications and event delivery, helping clients from a creative perspective.
With a strategic approach and global agency experience he enables his clients to deliver more effectively through smart scoping, smart procurement and smart activation, whilst never forgetting that creativity is the differentiator.
He was 2012 Meeting and Incentive Travel Magazine Personality of the Year and he worked at the world’s largest independent creative agency, Imagination, as a Board Director responsible for special events, and live communication activity across the world.
Collin, author of Game of Inches and founder of Ingenious Oz Project, is a highly sought-after speaker on business and creativity.
He has spoken throughout the world including in the US, Canada, UK, Europe Asia and New Zealand and recently co-presented this workshop with Foulkes in Denver, Colorado, where the session was praised for providing “excellent tools for ideation and team inputs on creative solutions”.
This session will give delegates the opportunity to ask hard-hitting questions about creative thinking to two of the industry’s most creative minds to help curate thinking, identify the best ideas, and instigate the delivery.
The workshop will cover differentiating intangible ideas from tangible ideas that solve problems and make money, igniting creative thinking for business, process, projects and leadership and applying the “Thought-Cake Creative Thinking” methodology.
