Be Yourself. Be Happy.

Of the grand order of folio leviathans, the Sperm Whale and the Right Whale are by far the most noteworthy. They are the only whales regularly hunted by man. To the Nantucketer, they present the two extremes of all the known varieties of the whale. As the external difference between them is mainly observable in their heads; and as a head of each is this moment hanging from the Pequod's side.

Stay Positive. Always.

Expertise Events offer free training to help businesses win in a tougher, noisier market

As global uncertainty, rising costs and shrinking budgets reshape the exhibition landscape, exhibitors are being urged to rethink how they show up, not just show up.

Expertise Events has announced the rollout of its refreshed Exhibit Success Training; a free, high-impact program designed to help exhibitors gain a real competitive edge in a market where simply “being at the show” is no longer enough.

“Exhibiting has changed, companies need to change how they approach exhibiting to reap the rewards, doing the same thing and expecting results isn’t a plan.
“In a tougher world, the brands that win are the ones that know exactly why they matter and can communicate that in seconds. Connections, not content, are what sell. This training is about helping exhibitors do just that,”
said Gary FitzRoy, Founder of Expertise Events.

FitzRoy calls it the “The Reconnection Revolution –How to Reconnect, Reimagine, and Redefine Exhibiting.

He added“The future of selling is live and it’s personal and three dimensional.

Emails get deleted. Ads are ignored. Virtual demos Forgettable.

Face-to-face is back and it’s more powerful than ever. Exhibiting isn’t just marketing. It’s your stage to sell, connect, impress and convert in ways no screen can match.”

The updated program is a shift away from passive stands and hope-based ROI, toward strategic, intentional exhibiting built around clarity, confidence and conversion. At the centre of the refreshed training is a powerful new focus: POD — Your Point of Difference.

In a crowded show environment where visitors make decisions in as little as three seconds, a clearly defined Point of Difference (POD) has become the single most valuable tool an exhibitor can have.

A strong POD:

  • Instantly grabs attention on a busy show floor
  • Cuts through “me-too” messaging
  • Gives buyers clarity, confidence and proof of value
  • Turns stands into destinations, not just displays
  • Drives stronger engagement, better conversations and higher conversion

What exhibitor teams will learn

The Exhibit Success Training equips teams with practical, immediately usable skills, including:

  • How to uncover their true POD (not generic clichés)
  • How to articulate it so buyers instantly get it
  • How to bring it to life through stand design, staff behavior and demonstrations
  • How to use POD stacking for even greater impact
  • How to turn their POD into repeatable, measurable sales outcomes

The result is a sharper, more confident team and a show presence that delivers real ROI, not just foot traffic.

Free, industry-wide training

The training will roll out across Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne over the coming weeks and is open to all exhibitors, not just Expertise Events clients.

“We’re grateful for the support of the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre, Sydney Showground and the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre,” FitzRoy said. “All three venues share our commitment to helping exhibitors achieve better outcomes — and this program is about lifting the standard of exhibiting across the entire industry.”

Attendance is free and open to all businesses, however places are limited. A no-show fee applies to ensure seats are not wasted.

Everyone that attends in person will receive a copy of a limited special e-book exclusively covering everything on the day FREE.

The exhibitor training program will run across three locations in March 2026, starting at the Brisbane Convention Centre on 4 March, followed by Sydney Showground, Homebush on 11 March, and concluding at the Melbourne Convention Centre on 18 March. Registration is free, but spaces are limited. Go to this link to register
