The expert judging panel of the Australian Event Awards have named the best Events in Australia, together with a host of achievements and companies who collectively make up the nominees for the Australian Event Awards 2023.
Co-Chair of the Judging Panel, Peter Rix AM says “What an inspiring group of Nominees for 2023! The range of events produced, achievements devised and brought to life and embracing of the changing industry to fashion new ideas and take events to a whole new level has set a whole new benchmark for the industry. It is an absolute pleasure to see the industry forging ahead stronger than before, well done.”
Major events such as Vivid Sydney 2023, Variety of Chefs Gala Ball 2022 and Adelaide Fringe 2023 will battle it out in their respective categories for the National Winner title.
In the business events sphere, Asia Pacific Incentives & Exhibition Event 2023, PwC Partner Ignite 2022 and Sydney WorldPride Human Rights Conference 2023 have earned one of the top five spots as a National Nominee in their categories.
With a suite of categories focussing on the contribution made by industry suppliers to the delivery of events, RAC Arena Perth, Weeding Hire, The P.A. People, MI Global Partners and Stagekings are amongst the many competing for the National Winner title and the Headline Title, Event Supplier of the Year.
Competing for the Event Management Company of the Year, the National Winners of the Management Categories will go head-to-head to claim the headline title. In the mix, Nominees include We Are Phoenix, KE Creative Event, The Shift Corp and Arinex who will first contend for the National Winner titles in each of the categories.
Across the board, 2023 was an exceptionally high scoring year, reflecting the high quality of events delivered across Australia and the innovation and creativity of the Australian Events Industry collectively, producing exquisite and pioneering events on our shores and across the world.

The vast array of Nominees in the Best Event categories highlight the diversity of the Australian Events industry as a whole and demonstrate the industry’s capacity to deliver outstanding experiences.” Says Ian Steigrad, Managing Director of the Event Awards.
National Winners will be announced at the Event Awards Ceremony on Wednesday 13 September at The Highline Venue, Bankstown NSW.
The Ceremony is an opportunity to find out who the National Winners are and celebrate in person with them at the only gathering to unite events people from across the entire national industry; from those producing major public events and local community festivals, to those sculpting boutique high-end corporate dos, those serving the national and international conference market and the organisers behind the best business events in Australia, alongside, of course, venues and suppliers.
