In a major coup, the organisers of the events industry tradeshow, Inspire EX have secured internationally renowned Event Producer John Daly to headline their seminar program in August 2014 at Sydney Exhibition Centre @ Glebe Island.
Commonly referred to as the Guru of Special Events Design, Mr Daly has built a successful business over 45 years and has worked on events for some of the world’s leading celebrities including Barrack Obama, Oprah Winfrey, Frank Sinatra and even the Pope.
He will give the keynote presentation at Inspire EX, on 18 August 2014 where he will draw invaluable insights from his extraordinary portfolio of events to share his beliefs on the value of a well-designed and crafted face-to-face experience for companies and people.
Mr Daly said one of the highlights of his career was the event he designed and produced for Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes’ Welcome to the USA party they threw for David and Victoria Beckham.
“The event was as star-studded as you could imagine and the pressure to ensure everyone had a fantastic time was immense.
“What solidified the event’s success in my mind was when Stevie Wonder decided to jump up on the DJ table and belt out a tune.
“To keep him steady, I was up there holding onto his belt loops ensuring he didn’t fall. From the stage I saw the crème de la crème of Hollywood dancing and thoroughly enjoying themselves – it doesn’t get much better than that for an Event Producer,” said Mr Daly.
It is no wonder that John Daly Inc. International has grown to become one of the most successful design and event planning businesses in the world.
His enviable client list includes 25 percent of the Top 50 Fortune 100 companies, such as Gillette, MasterCard, Land Rover, Rolls Royce, Porsche and Citicorp.
Mr Daly admits that whilst it is can be difficult working with such high profile companies and celebrities, he always remains dedicated to his craft and to ensuring that creativity is never limited by the event budget.
“I have worked with event budgets from zero to several million dollars, but no matter what the budget, I believe imagination can go a long way.
“My clients demand perfection, and it is very important, especially in Hollywood that you set boundaries from the beginning. I feel very privileged to have worked with the most exclusive brands and high profile celebrities. But I would have nothing today if I hadn’t worked with the utmost respect and dedication to their vision, after all it is their event,” Mr Daly said.
