WACS and Dilmah enter into Global Partnership
Recently the Dilmah Real High Tea Challenge 2012 has also joined hands with the World Association of Chefs Society (WACS) to help Dilmah achieve their objective of enhancing the understanding of tea as a key ingredient in cuisine and beverage and take tea as a culinary art to new heights.
The partnership will have a humanitarian aspect through the support Dilmah is offering WACS’ charitable arm – World Chefs without Borders.
World Chefs without Borders will help to guide Dilmah with setting up and managing culinary schools intended to help people with disabilities and landmine victims acquire the hospitality and culinary skills necessary to participate in Sri Lanka’s growing tourism industry.
