Meetings and Events Australia is delighted to announce leading digital marketing strategist, Mike Zeederberg, Managing Director of Zuni, will be presenting at EVOLVE 2019 on Customer Journey Mapping.
Customer journeys are the buzzword bingo jargon term of the moment, but what value do they provide to an organisation, and how can they be used to really improve business outcomes?
Zeederberg has spent 20 years helping brands use digital to drive business outcomes – initially as the “digital guy” in a variety of agencies, and for the last 10 years, running his own digital marketing strategic consultancy Zuni.
Zeederberg’s focus is helping organisations to integrate digital activity to drive better business outcomes, and he has been using customer journeys as the cornerstone for developing effective digital strategies for clients since he founded Zuni.
Upon announcing Zeederberg’s participation at the conference, MEA’s CEO, Robyn Johnson said, “Delegates attending Mike’s session will discover how customer journeys can help unlock their customer-centric marketing strategy or the campaign for their next event.”
Zeederberg advised, “This session will unpack why customer journeys have come of age, and how they can be used to put together a customer-centric strategy, whilst still delivering channel-centric execution plans.
“The session will also cover common journeys in the event industry and provide examples and practical tips about how to develop your own journeys.”
The session will explore what customer journeys are and why they have currency now, the difference between a customer journey and a brand touchpoint map, and why it matters choosing the right journeys to map, and examples of different experience map models that can be applied around events and different stakeholders – the sponsor, the speaker, the exhibitor and the attendee.
