Luna Park Sydney has hosted over 1,100 people in the Crystal Palace at the second annual Travel Industry Exhibition – the only trade-focused travel exhibition in Australia – on July 16 and 17.
Set against the idyllic backdrop of Sydney Harbour, over 70 domestic and international exhibitors showcased new products and services to hundreds of visitors, including airlines, tourism boards, tour operators, wholesalers and technology providers.
Exhibitors and guests enjoyed panoramic views of Sydney Harbour, including the Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House, through the Crystal Palace windows.
The event was free to attend and allowed members of the public to hear talks by global companies and industry leaders, including Facebook, TripAdvisor, Catablog, the Department of Foreign Affairs and the Australian Federation of Travel Agents.
“Luna Park Venues were delighted to have partnered with the largest travel industry exhibition in Australia in its second year. Sydney Harbour is one of the most iconic tourist destinations in the country, so hosting the Expo here was a perfect fit,” said Luna Park General Manager – Sales, James Granter.
