Sydney has an all-new events trade show with the announcement of The Event Show – Sydney, managed by Meetings and Events Australia (MEA).
The Event Show Sydney will be held in August 2015, at a Sydney venue to be revealed soon. It will feature displays from the best of Sydney’s event venues and suppliers, with a focus on exposing fresh new ideas and service providers.
It will also feature a thought-provoking education program, including revealing perspectives from major corporate event clients.
“The Event Show – Sydney” has already attracted an incredible degree of support from industry suppliers,” said MEA CEO Linda Gaunt. “That will allow us to keep booth prices very reasonable for exhibitors, so we expect space will sell quickly.”
Market feedback has shown that above all, conference and event managers want trade shows to expose them to new products. As exhibition costs are a barrier to up-and-coming suppliers, “The Event Show – Sydney” is planning a Fresh Talent Zone, where undiscovered, innovative meeting suppliers can get the exposure they deserve.
“We’re determined to show Sydney’s event clients the absolute best our industry has to offer. We’ll be revealing a lot more exciting detail very shortly,” with the event prospectus being released soon said Gaunt.
