Luna Park Venues has continued it’s association with Australia’s biggest HR conference, hosting the National HR Summit over two days for the sixth consecutive year – 6 & 7 April.
Hundreds of HR professionals gathered in the newly upgraded Crystal Ballroom to hear inspiring tales from some of the biggest names in Australian business, media and management, including Mia Freedman (Co-Founder of the Mamamia Women’s Network), Holly Ransom (CEO of Emergent) and Major General Rick Burr (Deputy Chief of the Australian Army).
Luna Park’s world-class catering team ensured the delegates were well-looked after with their conference package menu, serving a gourmet sandwich bar and a ‘walk and fork’ menu of chicken ragout coupled with preserved lemon, soft polenta semi-dried tomato and Sicilian green olives for the working lunch.
Luna Park Venues’ General Manager Sales, James Granter, said that he was excited to welcome back the national event to the venue space and looks forward to seeing the event continue to flourish in the coming years.
“We are absolutely thrilled to host the 14th annual National HR Summit again at Luna Park Venues. We hosted hundreds of HR professionals right here on Sydney Harbour for what was a thought-leading and content rich conference of world-class quality.
It has been inspiring for our team at Luna Park Venues see the National Summit HR grow and expand over the last six years to become what it is today – the pre-eminent annual event for the HR industry. It really is a wonderful opportunity for this passionate industry to learn and network with colleagues – and what better way to do it than within our various waterfront venues at Sydney’s iconic Luna Park,” Granter said.
Luna Park Venues experienced a milestone year in 2015, marking its 80th anniversary, as well as celebrating a record year of bookings and award wins. The historic venue space took out ‘Best Function Caterer’ at the prestigious Restaurant and Catering Awards and ‘Best Achievement in Venue Management’ at the Australian Event Awards.
James Granter doesn’t see Luna Park’s winning streak slowing down in 2016.
“Bookings of our venue spaces are moving very quickly – if we continue at this rate, we will exceed the record set last year. Sydney is currently experiencing a national and international events boom and we’re pleased to be able to offer our domestic and global guests exceptionally serviced events on the doorstep of Sydney Harbour,” he said.
