There are some new faces on the team at the Perth Convention Bureau whilst some long-term staff have seen expansion to their roles.
First to move up is Tracey Cinavas-Prosser who has been at the Bureau five years in the Membership Executive role. Mrs. Cinavas-Prosser moved to Australia seven years ago with a background in Event Management and PR, her new role of Director of Membership and PR will see her take responsibility for all industry and media liaison whilst still managing the Bureau’s 220 strong memberships.
Mrs. Cinavas-Prosser is assisted in a new role by newly appointed Membership and PR Coordinator Jacqui Roberts. Miss Roberts is in her final year of study at Curtin University completing a double major in Advertising and Public Relations in June 2012.
“I am looking forward to the new challenges my expanded role will provide’ said Mrs. Cinavas-Prosser who feels that with the new support staff engaged can better serve the Bureau’s members. “Jacqui brings to the bureau both experience in hospitality and a fresh look at the world of marketing and communication and we are lucky to have her on board”.
Other movements at the Bureau include the promotion of Trish McKay to Director of Corporate Services, taking over from Jeremey Murray who left the company at the beginning of December. Mrs. Mc Kay has also been with the Bureau a number of years, working in business development, accounts and HR; she will be supported in her new role by new recruit Arron Savage, who will have responsibility for the company accounts.
Executive Assistant Liz Wessels, PCB’s longest serving staff member, will take over the role of Company Secretary in addition to the support she currently offers the CEO and the Board. Joining in the New Year is Antonia Santich, who will take up the Marketing Coordinator role. Miss Santich has several years experience in the hotel industry.
“It has been a very busy year for the Bureau said CEO”, Paul Beeson. “With the appointment of a new Marketing Coordinator commencing in January we will have a full team who can help us deliver not only our targets but also ensure the smooth running of our membership & pr, marketing departments and also all of our administrative services”.
