Workshop Events created an extended “reveal” for the Australasian relaunch of the Holiday Inn brand at the Holiday Inn Old Sydney in The Rocks last night.
On arrival guests saw a large green wall from which sections were slowly peeled to reveal text and posters.
Following drinks and canapés and a welcome from Bruce McKenzie, chief operating officer Australasia for IHG (owner of the Holiday Inn brand), guests were ushered into a makeshift theatre to get involved in an interactive Theatresports style piece of theatre which produced a detective story set in Holiday Inn in Bankstown. The First Act produced much mirth all round.
The event was staged to promote the relaunch primarily to the travel and accommodation media and corporate buyers.
The 3 Minute Angels relieved some of the day’s tension while excellent wines and cocktails did the rest.
Something different in terms of the farewell goodie bag – a pillow gift.
