Covid-19 has absolutely devastated the meetings and events industry and restricted leading businesses and their teams by not allowing their staff to engage confidently and safely within the work place. And heaven forbid dealing with an active covid case in the work place or venue and then dealing with the ramifications and fallout.

I see it as our job as event producers/professionals to tailor our craft and create the solutions that will lead us back to business.

In spite of the current limitations we are all facing with restrictions and the vaccination count, there are still thousands of business owners and business managers scratching their heads trying to work out how to return to a pre-2019 business model.

Well I’m not too sure if that’s the smartest way to be looking for solutions right now and as a business owner, venue owner and touring event producer, I’m definitely looking for a more secure way to protect the health and well-being of key management, staff, guests, entertainers, chefs and service staff, including myself, as we navigate our way out of this. 

So it’s safe to say that I have been focused on creating proactive solutions that will help businesses to get back to business safely and with confidence knowing that whether you are in a secure office space, venue or an event you have the peace of mind knowing you and everyone around you are safe and in a covid free environment.

So in saying that, I believe that while vaccinations are definitely the first step, the second and most immediate step is rapid testing, to secure a particular work space for a specific occasion.

This helps identify an active covid case before they enter the site and ensures the overall safety of everyone inside the property on that day. It’s really that simple.
