Michael Firman is the chair of the MEA national board of directors and a long time member of the association. During the conference the board took to the stage to address the future of the association and to answer questions from the floor.
ASE took the opportunity to catch up with Michael to go deeper into some of the issues. (15 min interview)
This year two teams debated the MEAty subject: “The Australian Events Industry is Future Proofed”
Thomas Staunton was an impressive speaker in the debate so ASE asked him to expand on some of the issues he addressed. Thomas is also a newcomer to the MEA board so we asked him about what he hoped to bring to the board, and to the association. (10 min interview)
