Most event managers find keeping up with the evolution in event technology hard; as the products and services available keep multiplying, so do their client’s questions. However, that is all about to change with the launch of the Technology Village, a new feature to the Australian Business Events Expo, Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre, 14-15 August 2013.
Leading event technology suppliers will converge at the Technology Village to share, demonstrate and answer event professionals’ questions about how to, and why, use their technology.
Oliver Bampfield, Managing Director of IML Australia will lead a session at the Technology Village that will explore the power of harnessing audience interaction.
“We’ll be examining how our technology can be used to increase engagement, facilitate discussion and answer all the questions people might have. We are looking forward to meeting event buyers and showing them how to ensure a return on investment from their meetings and events,” said Mr Bampfield.
The Technology Village was built in response to many event professionals feeling overwhelmed with the possibilities of event technology and the lack of time to gather and understand the information.
Karen Krieger, Event Director for the Australian Business Events Expo, knows that the Technology Village will save busy event people hours of time in collating information, trialling technology and seeking answers. This new feature is designed as an opportunity to experience the latest in technology, digital services and products.
“We all want to use the new tools available and be able to show our clients we are ahead of the game, however, finding the time to do this is not always possible.
“The Technology Village answers all that. This new feature is designed as an opportunity to experience the latest in technology, digital services and products. It is a must-attend feature of Australian Business Events Expo,” said Ms Krieger.
