After extensive consultation with the Industry, and in the face of ongoing travel restrictions and uncertainty, the Event Awards decided to turn October into a month-long, online celebration of their entrants, finalists and winners.

To kick it off, entrant highlights, depicting an overview of the achievements and resilience of every Awards entrant and a few of the individuals that were integral to the operation, have begun on the Event Awards Facebook and will continue until 19 October – so make sure to like the page.

So far, sixteen entrant highlights have been published including Best Event entrants; Parrtjima – A Festival in Light 2021, ChromeFest Overdrive TV 2020, Igniting Our Future Conference 2021, and Airwaves – The Drive-In Music Festival 2020. Many of the Achievement and Organisation entrants have also been recognised including Q Station Management Team, The Shift, Ferve Tickets Pty Ltd and Connected Event Group.

The entrant highlights will be followed by 12 days of finalist and winner announcements from 20-31 October. These announcements will take the form of bite sized broadcasts which will be uploaded to the Event Awards’ YouTube channel at a designated time each evening – so make sure you subscribe!
