Director of Australian Street Art Awards, Kim Morgan, said “Often entrance art incorporates people, animals or events that have helped forge that destination, and so this category is a platform to share those stories”.
 
“Importantly, it showcases the creativity inherent in so many custom-made or custom-painted entrance art pieces, providing an awesome branded Insta-opportunity” she said.
 
Eligibility is open to any entrance art that incorporates the name or creative gateway sign that is an original piece of any type of permanent 2D or 3D artform created specifically for that location. It must announce the region, town or precinct and welcome visitors. More than one copy or version of the art can exist if the region, town or precinct has numerous entrances.
